Stunning shot, like a great oil painting Maria. Seems to have more contrast than you would normally use, but it adds a lot more depth to the scene.

@Curly: Thanks Curly, you know, you're right, I do refrain from adding contrast to images, or even saturate, as I'm always afraid not to overdo things, and I often end up with flat and dull images. But also often, I go back 1-2 days later and I add contrast or saturate, etc...so I totally agree with you :)

@Judy aka L@dybug: well, thanks Judy... when you take several hundred shots of the same scene, impossible not to get a satisfying one :) that's what usually happens to me, I end up taking way too many photos of the same scene, to end up picking just one

Fabulous image, well worth the wait to see a new one from you! Your artistic sense is working here beautifully, including the perfect contrast to enhance light on waves, rocks and sky. As others have noted, the seagull is that added touch. I smiled when you said you take 100s of images...yes. That is what it takes sometimes!
