The font works perfectly with your image and the frame!!! (What other than a german font goes better with a picture showing the best and colourful sides of germany I ask) You went under a lucky star on your europe trip, fine light you had! What I like best is you show sights I have never seen before ;)

franz from Baden, Austria

wooow .... you REALLY hit the beauty spots this time, maria! one picture more splendid and exquisite than the other ... can't wait to continue this trip with you ...

10 Oct 2011 9:53am

@franz: Thanks Franz! Yes, unlike last year when I wandered around without a fixed itinerary, just going where my eyes see beauty, this year, instead, I had a very fixed itinerary that I worked on for months! I even made hotel reservations and such, which is usually unlike me, as I am very spontaneous and I do not like to be pressured by time or itinerary schedule... However, in the end, there were benefits, cause I did much research on what I want to visit, exactly, to know how to plan my time... I still love my last year vacation, though! :)

Stefan from Thiersee, Austria

It make me smiling, i show you pictures from california and you show me fantastic images from Bavaria..it is very close to my Home!

10 Oct 2011 11:53am

@Stefan: I thought about that myself these past few days ...seeing your postings from US...and indeed, it made me smile too...each time I would flip to your page... :) But I think it is always very interesting and even educative, to see photos taken by other photographers, of the places I know most and best...at least I know I like that... Often times I learn about new angles and locations that I, as a resident, was not aware of... While traveling, I passed by locations where some of you live, such as Thiersee, Kufstein, Baden...etc...

Don Levesque from Saint John, Canada

An amazing and beautiful series, one photo just as beautiful as the other.
Well done Maria!

klausz from Kufstein, Austria

I told you about the vacancy in the tourismus office in austria and perhaps there´s also one in germany! :D
you showed the different locations in such a fantastic way! and for me it is also my home area, cause berchtesgaden is really near to kufstein! (particularly for american context!) TOP!!!!

10 Oct 2011 2:30pm

@klausz: you are very funny! I hope there is one in Switzerland, as well! :D I know you live close, saw your town many times on my GPS as I was wandering around the area...

Ralf Kesper from Attendorn, Germany

Ah, you have found the photo point behind the little bridge :-))

Really nice!

10 Oct 2011 3:38pm

@Ralf Kesper: Thanks Ralf... As if it was hard to find... :)

Roman from Thiersee, Austria

definitely the best POV on this church.
what an amazing capture!

10 Oct 2011 4:09pm

@Roman: Thanks Roman, It is a good POV, but also, very typical. It is nothing really unusual...but a photo millions probably already took before. In general it is not easy to take photos of very famous places. Still, I loved the time there, and I love the place, and I really enjoyed visiting it, I'll definitely return if I'll ever have the chance to pass by, again...

Francisco Romero from Carbajal de la Legua, Spain

Extraordinarily pretty picture Maria, so well composed but with the feeling that the whole has been painted on to canvass.
